Founder & Director, Karki Corporation
Umesh Karki is the Founder & Director of Karki Corporation, a multi-industry global group headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia with operating roots in Nepal. He leads the group's strategy, capital allocation, and expansion across healthcare, AI technology, education & immigration, hospitality, property development, and luxury brands.
Originally from Nepal and now based in Canada, Umesh built his career at the intersection of healthcare workforce development and international mobility — guiding nurses, students, and skilled professionals through licensing, education, and immigration pathways to North America. That operating experience became the foundation for the group's first venture, the American NCLEX Institute, and later expanded into technology, real estate, and luxury.
Today, his focus is on building Karki Corporation into a category-defining global institution: a parent house of disciplined, founder-led companies measured against a single standard — long-term value creation, executed with integrity.
